Joined Oct 2, Messages I am trying to install Realplayer but keep getting the following message "You currently do not have administrator access to the windows registry. Please see your systems adminstrator to install realplayer" This is my home PC and I'm the only Administrator on it.

I discovered what went wrong eventually. I noticed that there is an alternative installer one can use if the default one fails. Using this it still failed but this time it showed an error message.

I verified this folder to see if I could access it and even created the favorites folder manually but the installer still failed with the same error. I also tried running the installer in Administrator mode, no luck. I then logged into the Computer Administrator account and managed to install it successfully. However, I'm still puzzled.
