This can easily be caused if ppl use no-cd etc. I don't use a no-cd thing. Today i used another aproach, and i am convinced that it's got something to do with the extraction of the patch itself. Another thought that crossed my mind : The patch checks the file before updating, probally with crc checks. If your system is overclocked crc-errors are more likely to happen than stockspeeds.
